Ali Qleibo is an anthropologist, writer and visual artist. He tells us the story of the frescoes in the Crusader Church of Abu Gosh, located in the village of the same name in the Judean Mountains, west of Jerusalem. These colourful frescoes were created by Byzantine artists in the 12th century and were restored to their former glory by France in the early 2000s.
