Caroline Barbary is a PhD in sociology. She defended in March 2019 a thesis on the networks of revolutionary youth in Egypt, their forms of collective action and their recompositions during the period 2011- 2014. A specialist in Arab societies, she conducts, alone or as part of a team, work that is part of the reflection of postcolonial and subaltern studies articulated around a double issue: the manufacture of political identities and the manufacture of the real space of action.
