Djaïli Amadou Amal, born in 1975 in Maroua, is a French-speaking Cameroonian feminist activist and writer. She was awarded the Goncourt des Lycéens 2020 for her novel "Les Impatientes", published by Emmanuelle Collas. We meet her in conversation with journalist Evelyne Owona Essomba at the French Institute of Cameroon as part of the Nuit des Idées 2021.
