Laure Assaf is an anthropologist and specialist in the Middle East. Her research focuses on youth, urban phenomena and migration issues in contemporary Emirati society and the Gulf region. She is the author of a thesis on Arab youth in Abu Dhabi. In this interview, she deciphers the uses of the Abu Dhabi Corniche, between public space and open-air intimacy.
