The care of children, the sick, the elderly or people in difficulty is unequally distributed throughout the world, in France as well as in South Korea. This task traditionally falls to women, and more specifically to mothers who provide the link between generations. In these ultra-competitive modern societies, where the future is entirely "capitalized" on the child, the role of the woman, once a mother, quickly becomes that of a caregiver focused on the well-being of the family unit. Faced with these problems, what are the concrete solutions to overcome these deep social disparities and eventually develop a society of care? Interview with Won-jung Kim, researcher at the Korean Women's Development Institute (KWDI).
