She has a degree in Art History from the University of Seville and is currently studying for a master's degree in Andalusian Heritage. She has a strong commitment to feminist issues and has had a number of professional experiences bridging art and women's issues, including lecturing on foreign artists in Spain between the wars and on the female mapping of emotions in literature and art.
