Committed to the fight for the preservation of ocean ecosystems, she holds a degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography from the University of Algarve. She participated in the European Commission's youth innovation event, Hack4Oceans. She and her team won the "Protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems" challenge with her project "Erasmus for the Sea".
