He joined the CNES (French Space Agency) in 1989. He has mainly been involved in cooperation with the European Space Agency, as a French delegate. II/ Debate

19 : 00-20 : 30 : Hybrid debate: Philippe Bihouix (distant - TBC), Li Sheng, Chance Jiang, Michelle - Luo Liting (face-to-face)

Issue: by bringing together leading personalities directly involved in the development and use of technologies, the aim is to stimulate a debate on their potential benefits in terms of environmental protection. Beyond this, it is a question of questioning our relationship to the environment - including and especially our immediate urban environment - when it is mediated by technologies (especially innovative architectural techniques). How are and can these be used to live better together and in harmony with nature?

In addition, the participation of Philippe Bihouix and that of Chance Jiang, an application developer and startuper based in Southern China, will be able to nourish a fertile debate on our relationship with new technologies, particularly at a time marked by the dizzying acceleration of the digitization of exchanges and interactions. Given the considerable ecological cost of manufacturing the high-tech devices that have become part of our daily lives, is it sustainable - and morally tenable - to increase the digitisation of human relationships? In short, should not the imperative of preserving natural resources be imposed on the permanent search for convenience that guides our interest in new technologies (connected objects, smart phones, etc.)?
