The Night of Ideas is an international event that takes place every year on the last Thursday of January. It brings together people from all walks of life - intellectuals, researchers, artists, etc. - to discuss and exchange ideas. - It brings together speakers from all walks of life - intellectuals, researchers, artists, etc. - and takes place in more than a hundred countries around a theme. The French Institute of Japan has been taking part in this event since 2017, and it is through laughter and humour that we will use the theme for 2020: "close" because, as Flaubert said so well, "Nothing is more serious in this world than laughter."
