The French Institute of Zaragoza will celebrate on the 27th of January a new edition of "La Noche de las Ideas" (Night of Ideas) in collaboration with Etopia, Centro de Arte y Tecnología, an event that is being developed simultaneously in more than a hundred countries around the world as a form of exchange of ideas between countries and cultures, disciplines and generations.

"The Night of Ideas is an invitation to discover contemporary thought, to reflect on the great challenges of our time and to listen, in the end, to those who advance ideas in all fields. This year, we will reflect on the reconstruction of our societies and promote a more cohesive, representative and democratic Europe, from and for the citizenry, capable of facing up to the challenges of today.

In Zaragoza, the meeting will take place online on Thursday 27 January at 8pm under the title "How to repair cities with digital technology".

Debatirán Daniel Sarasa, Director de la Fundación "Zaragoza Ciudad del Conocimiento", es chair del Grupo de Datos de Eurocities y es editor del blog de innovación urbana Urbequity.com; and Simon Chignard, data expert, worked in the Etalab project from 2015 to 2021, contributing to the implementation of the public data policy in France, recognised as one of the most advanced in Europe by the European Commission, professor at Sciences Po Paris and author of two books: Open Data (2012) and Datanomics (2015, Fyp Editions).
