The Alliance Française Bahrain is launching an editorial project as part of the Night of Ideas 2021, in collaboration with 3 other Alliances Française :
- Alliance Française de Querétaro
- Alliance Française de Lusaka
- Alliance Française de Singapour
The theme of this night being "Proches", the Alliance Française Bahrain wanted to create a collection of letters in French carried by Alliances from all continents and in association with a local writer.
Through this project, AF Bahrain wants to highlight various literatures and points of view for a dialogue of cultures.
Thus, this collection allows us to question the place of digital technology in our societies. From the global network, to the new solidarities born of social networks or the new relationships to spaces, access to the world and their influence in our social or professional life. The idea is to question the opportunities that these new technologies offer us, as well as their otherness, their limits and their excesses.
