In a context in which the Covid-19 pandemic forced the world population to maintain isolation and social distancing as measures to curb the accelerated increase in infections and weigh the lack of health guarantees in various countries, many governments took advantage of this condition to benefit from its policies and strengthen population control measures, thus generating strong setbacks in rights.
On the other hand, with strength and courage, millions of people, organizations, collectives and social movements around the world have faced the pandemic crisis with acuity, starting from collaboration and union, keeping the burning flame of mobilization alive despite the restrictions, achieving proximity, continuing to raise their voices and defend the rights won through historical struggles, defending dignity, democracy, peace, life and territory.
