Join Brandan "Bmike" Odums for a visit of Studio BE - a 35,000 square ft warehouse that the visual artist has transformed into a cultural and educational space in downtown New Orleans. Bmike is "Closing the Distance" by rendering the artmaking practice more accessible to younger generations. By incorporating them in the creative and physical processes, Bmike also opens the public space to intergenerational dialogue on contemporary issues facing society.
