The Maison de la littérature de Québec explores the theme Proches with author Alain Damasio (Grand Prix de l'imaginaire 2020) in a major interview presented in collaboration with Les Bouquinistes de Chicoutimi bookstore. In a virtual round table discussion, author Alain Mabanckou and authors Marie-Ève Lacasse and Michèle Ouimet will discuss how expatriation influences their approach to writing, their work and their relationship to identity. Cocoons capsules with authors Anne-Marie Desmeules and Naomi Fontaine, and author Jean Sioui will punctuate the discussions - produced in collaboration with Louis-Fréchette's birthplace.

The Night of Ideas in Quebec is an initiative coordinated by the Consulate General of France in Quebec City. It brings together 15 partners in 6 cities. It is produced in collaboration with Le Lobe, Le Centre d'expérimentation musicale, Librairie Les Bouquinistes, Maison de la littérature, Maison natale de Louis Fréchette, Groupe URAV, Galerie R3 de l'UQTR, Galerie de l'UQAM, Théâtre des Petites Lanternes, Sporobole, Université de Sherbrooke, Délégation générale du Québec à Paris, ENSAD, Concordia University, Centre Pompidou, Québec BD and Lyon BD.
