On Thursday 28 January, on the occasion of the 5th Night of Ideas, UCLouvain will deploy the expertise developed on its 3 campuses in Hainaut (Mons, Charleroi, Tournai), to provide a transdisciplinary response to the question: "Borders: our limits? »
During the evening, broadcast from Tournai, there will be three periods of exchange and reflection on three themes: "(De)crossing borders" (socio-political approach), "Living on the border" (urban planning approach) and "Pushing back borders" (technological and digital approach), led by professors from UCLouvain, in the company of guests from all over the Eurometropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai area.
During these encounters, in a subtle game of hide-and-seek in situ, unexpected artists will come to "play with borders", before giving way to a selection of short films programmed by the Ramdam Festival, thus demonstrating that culture can make, undo and redo the wall(s).
