Classical cultural practices, which used to generate intellectual sociability, are nowadays unfortunately neglected in France, in Romania and in Europe.
This is why we wish to recreate a dialogue around them between the actors of the cultural scene: artists, prescribers, patrons, institutions, etc. These dialogues, like the literary salons of the 18th century, although in the presence of an audience, will take place in the form of informal conversations during which no subject will be taboo. The Night of Ideas will thus open the cycle of the debate of ideas in Romania with this first cultural conversation of the year around European issues.
Moderated by Corina Suteu, former Minister of Culture in Romania, the conversation will be held in the presence of :

- Matei Visniec, playwright
- Alexandra Tanasescu, cultural journalist
