Could our cities be locally productive and globally connected? Smart and resilient? Infused with poetry and empathy? Empower people, from the streets to the top of the towers? Is an innovating and inclusive city possible? The San Francisco Public Library, SFMOMA, and the French Consulate in San Francisco unite to give voice to the talented people who make the city: urbanists, artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, scholars, librarians, community organizers, residents… on February 2, 2019. Let’s share our ambitions for our cities, compare our solutions and celebrate collective imagination during the first edition of Night of Ideas in San Francisco! A seven-hour marathon of discussions, talks, readings, performances, film screenings, concerts and much more. A free, open to all and festive night in the heart of the city at the SF Main Library.
